Land Acknowledgement

At Brick Road Coffee, we wish to acknowledge that Tempe and Brick Road Coffee is situated on the homeland of the Native people who have inhabited this landscape since time immemorial. These ancestral lands of the O’odham (known as the Pima), Piipaash (known as the Maricopa), and their ancestors extend far beyond our city. This land continues to be spiritually connected to the O’odham of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and Gila River Indian Community.

As stewards of this land, we pledge to consider our commitment to honoring and respecting the Native peoples who have lived on this land before us in every action we take. We believe that by acknowledging the past and present connection of Indigenous peoples to this land, we can work to create a more equitable and inclusive community.

We invite all our customers to join us in acknowledging the history and culture of the Native peoples and to honor and respect the land we all call home.
